Bishop John Fleming launched the new look Vineyard at the Newman Institute, Ballina on Friday, November 18th.
People, priests and religious from around the Diocese of Killala attended the launch.
In his editorial, Fr. Brendan Hoban notes that “in the early days Vineyard was a black and white tabloid-size paper and in later years it was garnished with a small dash of colour on the front page. Having gone through a gradual updating over the years, it now gets a brand-new suit of clothes, a full colour glossy production in a new, more accessible format.”
The new 80 page Vineyard contains beautiful photographs and articles on a variety of events throughout the diocese.
Copies of the Vineyard are available in all parishes at a cost of €2.
All monies raised from the sale of the Vineyard in a parish goes directly into parish funds.
