Placing Hope in Faith, our diocesan listening process, will be launched on Wednesday, January 31st, by Bishop John Fleming in the Newman Institute at 8pm.
Representatives of our 22 parishes will be in attendance but there is an open invitation to all the people and priests of our diocese to attend. Light refreshments will be served.
This is a wonderful opportunity to speak and to hear the views and voices of the people of our diocese on the many challenges facing us now as people of faith. During February and March members of the steering committee will visit all 22 parishes of the diocese, meeting interested groups and individuals, to facilitate as full and as comprehensive a listening process as possible. When this information is assimilated we will be framing proposals in advance of a diocesan assembly to be held in June. We invite full participation in this process.
